I am flabbergasted by the service that my company received from Affordable Lock. I own an auto repair shop. We had a... Toyota that needed the Pass Key System reprogrammed. We called Affordable to ask if they could do the job. They said yes no problem. The first technician arrived at 9:00am and he attempted to reprogram the car and was unable to reprogram it so he called another technician for help. The second technician arrived at 9:45am and both technicians then tried to reprogram the car. At 11:00am the 2nd technician said that they were unable to reprogram the car because they did not have the equipment necessary to do the job. The next day I saw a charge on my credit card for $177.00!! I did not receive a receipt and did not sign any paperwork so I assumed that they were not charging us because they were unable to repair the car. I called the manager at Affordable and she said that they charged my card for a service call even though they were unable to repair the car. I asked her why they were charging us if they were unable to repair the vehicle. She said they charge even if they can't fix it! This is absurd!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!read more

Quick service, friendly technician. The only problem I had with "Affordable Lock" & Security is that it is really NOT... "affordable" as the company name suggests. I realize the company has overhead costs to pay, but when the technician had to drive only about 2 miles, then takes a lock picking tool and opens your door within a couple of minutes, the charge of $100.00 plus tax was exhorbitant! I'll call around for more reasonable pricing if I need a locksmith again!read more
