Visited the store at the corner of Griffin View and 441 to determine if I could get an electronic deadbolt re-keyed. I not only found that it was something they could do – they did it while I waited. His professionalism, kindness and trade skills were above and beyond what I was expecting. He rekeyed six locks on six doors and was done within half an hour. Had to get a new key for my car cut. I had the new fob with a blank from chevy, just needed the ket cut. In and out within 10 minutes. She also made sure to go out and try the key in my car before I left to make sure it was working properly. Great shop, fast service, friendly people! Check them out if you need locksmith services.

I went there yesterday and Jason was so helpful. I have an electric bike and the store gave me the wrong key for the battery. Jason was able to make me a key!! I also lost my car key and the dealership wants to charge me almost $500 and Jason can do it for half the cost. I will definitely be a customer and recommend Affordable Lock to anyone.
Affordable Lock & Security Solutions was great to work with! Gary R, our technician was on time, did great job changing our digital lock core for our office space. Had all supplies necessary to supply us with all the copy of keys for all out our doors in his mobile vehicle. This is not the 1st time we have used them and it won’t be the last.
I called around to a lot of places because my car key broke in half. A coworker told me about this business and he was right they did not disappoint. At his insistence, I swung by his shop in Altamonte. He helped me program a new key fob so that I can lock and unlock my car easier again. It may not seem like much, but having a child in a car seat in a wheelchair/stroller when I couldn’t lock the car remotely made getting her out of the car an impossible
dance. It’s hard to explain, but trust me when I say it was a pain in the butt and much to my husband’s chagrin, I just gave up on ever locking my car, even with recent break ins in our neighborhood. Mike has really made my life so much easier.
Your employee Jason Soler is to be commended for helping me out in a very bad situation. I came into your store very upset and crying. I had lost all the keys I had to everything in our house and our 2 vehicles also—most of all our safe.
Jason calmed me down and told me the options for all keys. He didn’t have the one to make for our safe but found me someone who did.

called to say what a great company we are and how great our staff is. He said his day ended much better then it started. He called Jose this morning cause the lady that is watching his house while he is in New Jersey visiting his grand kids got the key stuck in the door. He has a Medeco Lock, but Jose had Mike L. give him a call back and let him know that he will be there after he was done with his current job and come fix the issue. After he arrived and got the key removed but could not figure out how it got stuck. But that was beside the point, He just wanted to say that he is very happy with the way we manage and communicate within the company. That Jason in the shop knows the same info as Mike when he comes out to the house. He wanted to say that he will be recommending us.

I engaged Affordable Lock & Security to replace the entry door hardware and install new locks on my newly purchased home. Gary did a great job walking me through the process. I’ve been especially busy with work and Gary came out to the house with a large catalog of options for hardware and helped me choose new door hardware and then he returned to handle the installation. Gary was awesome! He immediately provided options for fixing the alignment of the deadbolt. He also completed installation of a new door knob. Even gave instructions on how to use new keypad lock. Extremely efficient and knowledgeable. I will recommend him to all.

I went to Affordable Lock & Security Solutions to purchase a gun safe. Mike[J.] was very pleasant and showed me several different options. I needed a relatively small safe but one that could hold 2 long guns. He had several options and the one I chose was with only one shell. I could build my own shelves at home. The two young men that delivered the safe were very nice and very efficient at doing their job, bolted the safe to the floor and cleaned up after themselves. Technician arrived shortly after calling for service. Mike L. was professional and personable. Called to let us know he was on his way. Was going to repair lock until he found it wasn’t repairable. Showed the bad part and explained why it couldn’t be repaired. Had new part in truck. Installed and gone in less than 1/2 an hour. Prices seemed reasonable and customary.
I spoke with Ursula to schedule just this morning. She had someone out to our office within an hour and our front door issue was remediated. The tech that came was polite, helpful, explained the issue as well as what he fixed and did so quickly. We will definitely use their services again.

I lost my Ford Smart Prox Entry Remote Fob key cover on a camping trip. The Ford dealership quoted me $400+ for a replacement! Instead, I bought a Ford fob key replacement online and the site recommended Affordable Lock & Security Solutions to program the cover and laser cut the key. Jason at ALSS cut and programmed the key. The total cost for the replacement was about $150! Thank you Jason for your help! I highly recommend ALSS!

We could not unlock our front door. Dan from Affordable Lock came to the house and did a thorough job. We thought we would have to replace the lock but he just replaced an inside $20 part. Now it works well.

Fast, reasonable prices. The owner made a non-chipped key first to see if I could save $80.00. It wouldn”t start the car, but does unlock the door. He gave it to me for free, would have to throw it out anyhow.
Jason was great! Both of My car fobs broke at the same time. The rubber buttons fell off and the actual key broke off. Jason replaced 2 car keys and was able to change the guts of my fobs so I didn’t have to pay hundreds to get my remotes reprogrammed. I 100% recommend this business.
I have a European lock that was getting harder and harder to turn. I thought we would have to replace it. I called Affordable and they came over and fixed it and let me know the springs and guts were good, just needed a little cleanout. I needed a lock on a fence gate that could be locked and opened from either side. Mr. Randy Cole from Affordable Lock & Security Solutions came and looked at the problem and gave me a free estimate. I decided to go ahead with what he suggested. He returned a couple of days later and installed the lock on the gate, which also required adding a bit of wood to the gate and fence so the lock would work. I’m very happy with my new lock and it will make my life much easier. I would definitely recommend this company and Mr. Cole.
Email from Kevin Pate 10/07/20 referencing the complaint he lodged with Emtek due to afaulty finish on approximately $4,000 worth of hardware:.Thanks for everything Phil.” The customer had purchased most of the hardware on Amazon, but also some from us. The finish on all of it flaked. Phil contacted Emtek and facilitated the return under warranty, but Emtek balked upon learning much of it had not originally been purchased from Affordable Lock. The customer wrote to Emtek lodging his complaint. Ultimately,Emtek decided to let us handle the entire return. Because of Phil’s diligence we will get the labor for the installation and the customer came to us for an additional $1200 worth of hardware.[Nicely done, Phil!]

Bought a new home & wanted to have locks that were (much) better than what you can get at the big box stores. Marc came out for an initial face-to-face consultation to look at my doors & find out what I wanted. Greg came back a few days later with the new locks & installed them. There was a problem with my front door that required him to order another part & Greg came back a few days later to install the part at no additional charge. The new part didn’t work as expected so Tony resolved the issue a few days later. I’m sure having to make multiple visits is unusual but it says a lot about their commitment to making sure that the work is done right! I encountered a problem with my Sentry home safe. Even with the correct code, the safe would not open and just activated the “Error” lamp. Affordable Lock sent Larryto take care of this. Went to Home Depot in Clermont to get a duplicate key made, the employee looked at the key and said “I doubt it but I’ll give it a try” he put the key in a scanner and it was rejected, no match. The employee asked me if I’ve seen the Igloo looking place off of Route 27 near Citrus Tower, I said “yes” and he suggested I go there as they have thousands of keys and was sure they’d have that one.
The key is for a Safe Box and he was right, they had thousands of keys and they had a match for my key.
If you need an expert for keys, locks, safe boxes, security cameras, this place has everything you’ll need or want.

This locksmith is the best that I’ve experienced here in Tampa. After getting ridiculous quotes from the dealers to get a spare keys made for my cars, I spoke to a gentlemen here and he was able to program the remote for my car in less than 10 minutes. I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years to get keys made and I’ve never had an issue. I would highly recommend this shop.

So glad I found this place! Most of the yelp pictures are not of this building. You will find them in a small strip mall on Florida Ave. between Bearss and Fletcher. They do dealer keys at a fraction of the price. Today my unlock button was missing from my key. I stopped by one other place to see if I could just get a new button and was told no, I would need a whole new key from a dealer. Stopped by this place and they were able to give me a new “case”
As they called it for only $35. It looks exactly the same as my old key and cost much, much less. Everyone working here was very helpful as well. I was helped as soon as I walked in the door and while my key was being made several other people asked if I had been helped.

The employees were knowledgeable and polite, and they explained their actions, and answered my questions patiently. They explained how the fob for my new car could be converted to a simple flat key – after I was told otherwise by another key shop. Plus when I paid them, the price had been discounted because I wanted two new keys.
Having lost my Lexus main key the two people , the lady in particular went way above my expectations to produce a new one. It was a far more complex operation than I had expected but the team worked hard and got the job done – UTSTANDING work, very well done from one delighted customer !

Best in town, great friendly fast service…I replaced a chipped key and bought a remote fob I lost. They had me done in 10 to 15 min. Also, they had a nice selection of safes that were cool to look at while I was waiting. Highly recommended!

Went to Home Depot in Clermont to get a duplicate key made, the employee looked at the key and said “I doubt it but I’ll give it a try” he put the key in a scanner and it was rejected, no match. The employee asked me if I’ve seen the Igloo looking place off of Route 27 near Citrus Tower, I said “yes” and he suggested I go there as they have thousands of keys and was sure they’d have that one. The key is for a Safe Box and he was right, they had thousands of keys and they had a match for my key. If you need an expert for keys, locks, safe boxes, security cameras, this place has everything you’ll need or want.
