The tech was fantastic, the dispatch process, not so much. Left message the night before and followed up next morning. Dispatch said next available appointment was 5 days later but would put a word out to the techs to see if it could be expedited. Never got word back. Tech arrived along with a tech from another company I called after not hearing back. Still had to pay the dispatch fee for a simple fix.

I had an excellent experience with a young, professional employee this afternoon while trying to get a duplicate key made for my son’s new boat. I only wish I could remember his name as I rarely experience good customer assistance let alone “great” service from our younger generation. I do know he showed all the respect and knowledge he’d been taught. My expectations were met more than once. He gave me a short lesson in lock-smithing that I’ll certainly use in the future. The owner (his father) happened to be available which gave me the opportunity to share what had transpired. Needless to say, his dad seemed to show much pride that his son’s upbringing had truly shown that day.

I engaged Affordable Lock & Security to replace the entry door hardware and install new locks on my newly purchased home. Gary did a great job walking me through the process. I've been especially busy with work and Gary came out to the house with a large catalog of options for hardware and helped me choose new door hardware and then he returned to handle the installation. He did a great job installing the hardware, cleaned up his work areas, and was incredibly personable. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely consider Affordable Lock in the future.

Gary was awesome! He immediately provided options for fixing the alignment of the deadbolt. He also completed installation of a new door knob. Even gave instructions on how to use new keypad lock. Extremely efficient and knowledgeable. I will recommend him to all.

We had Larry (from the Tampa store) come out to our house as we were having issues with our very old safe. He recognized the issue and thought he knew the solution, but wanted to do a little bit more research to make sure. He got back with us in a very timely manner, came back out to the house, and was able to open our safe without having to drill it! Great job, Larry, for your diligent search for a solution that would not cause additional damage or cost to gaining access to our safe! I needed a lock on a fence gate that could be locked and opened from either side. Mr. Randy Cole from Affordable Lock & Security Solutions came and looked at the problem and gave me a free estimate. I decided to go ahead with what he suggested. He returned a couple of days later and installed the lock on the gate, which also required adding a bit of wood to the gate and fence so the lock would work. I'm very happy with my new lock and it will make my life much easier. I would definitely recommend this company and Mr. Cole.

I encountered a problem with my Sentry home safe. Even with the correct code, the safe would not open and just activated the "Error" lamp. Affordable Lock sent Larry to take care of this. We had to drill out the locking solenoid - that wasn't easy. He did a great job and I would definitely use Affordable Lock again!

4th Edit: Larry serviced our safes again this year and did a wonderful job finding things that were preventable and could have been a problem in the long run. He is friendly and efficient.

This is my 3rd Edit: Always a great experience with Larry at Affordable Lock. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.

Previous: This is my go-to for safes and locks. They helped me out of a jam moving a safe when no one else in the Tampa Bay Area could - or at least wanted to - without charging me thousands of dollars. Great service and professionalism.

When I need anything done with keys and safes, they treat me like a valued customer and I always learn something from the techs. Their communication is excellent also. I highly recommend them.

We just had Randy Cole finish a call out to our new house and were so pleased with the experience: beginning to end. We called late afternoon on a Friday and Heather, in the main office, was so helpful in getting us an early Monday appointment to ensure we'd have new locks to feel safe and secure in the new house.
On the day of the appointment, Randy was prompt, arriving at the top of our scheduled window and calling us in advance to confirm his arrival time-- which was especially helpful to me as I work from home and didn't have to end any calls or meetings when the doorbell rang. Randy was expedient, professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. He quickly re-keyed three locks AND even helped us problem-solve a sticky door (for which my shoulder is very thankful!).

I went by 2 different places to cut a master Kia Soul car key for replacement with no luck until I'm driving and saw this place & I'm so blessed by these guys saving me over $500 for 1 replacement key that I ended up getting 2 replacement keys for under $15 dollars aaahhhh THANK YOU SO MUCH GOD BLESS

We called in the morning, customer service was friendly, efficient, and a technician was arranged for the same day. Michael S. called to confirm that he was on the way, was on time, knowledgeable, and took care of our repair issues. He also went over our concerns for a future project and helped explain what could be done. He was great.

I remembered this company from my past work in vocational counseling years ago when the owner, Ken, helped offer apprenticeships to train individuals with disabilities who I advised. I am so impressed with how this company has expanded but is so customer centered.

Although retired, we now have an at home dog boarding business, and were so glad Affordable Lock was here to help with excellent service.

IMHO, This company hires unskilled locksmiths (see pic), and they do horrendous work! Even after you bring it to the owner's attention, he says that's the way they do it...NICE AND MESSY. They murdered the install of my door lock. Do yourself a favor and RUN!! AND you had to move the strike plate because the door wouldn't shut. You're carving job is atrocious and you shouldn't be in business

We had a fantastic customer experience with Affordable Lock & Security Solutions. I contacted them in the morning with a request to re-key the locks on our new home and by 11:54 am the work was completed!!

Our locksmith, Michael, was very friendly and went out of his way to explain a couple of issues that we had with lock corrosion and a numeric keypad lock.
